MyDocrates patient service platform also open to international patients

All customers from all over the world can now book an appointment directly with the oncologists and experts of Docrates Cancer Center via an online appointment booking service. In the same service, regardless of their country of residence, customers can identify themselves and register as a customer and patient of the cancer center in a strong and secure way. In the service, customers can fill in patient consent forms, preliminary information and treatment history, as well as upload patient data for the use of doctors. The service also makes it possible to pay for services and join video appointments from all over the world.

– I’m very happy that we have been able to make our digital service and the related additional features available also to our international patients. The MyDocrates service was previously only available for Finnish and Swedish patients. Now, the expanded service will make appointment booking and taking care of matters easier and more efficient for our international patients in a secure and protected way. Since 2019, we have treated almost 2,500 international patients from about 70 countries, says Jani Mikkola, Commercial Director at Docrates Cancer Center.

Docrates’ international patients come to Docrates for medical consultations, examinations and treatment from countries such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Baltic states, the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Belgium and France.
