The number of Norwegian patients increased in 2023

– Patients from all over Norway come to us for treatment. The typical form of treatment given to them has been internal radiotherapy with radiopharmaceuticals. Norwegian patients can apply for reimbursement for treatment carried out in Finland in their own country if the treatment corresponds to that which is available in Norway. We have also received patients who pay for their own treatment privately or with private insurance or, in some cases, with public health care referrals and vouchers. We are able to serve our patients in Norwegian and Swedish, which has been a positive surprise to the patients, says Commercial Director Jani Mikkola from Docrates Cancer Center.

The feedback from Docrates’ international patients emphasises the cancer center’s comfortable atmosphere as well as its active, service-oriented, unique and individual treatment experience.
